I Want to See Her
Alexander Arlan Ainsley POV
Me: "Hello, Louis. What happened there?"
I hoped Arletta was doing well. I expected Louis would give me good news, not the other way around.
Louis Movena: "Boss, Ms. Arletta is really sick. I heard that she was taken to the emergency room."
I paused. No wonder I felt something strange; it turned out to be a sign. Why was my girl brought to the emergency room? What was wrong with her?
Me: "Did you get any other news about Arletta's illness?"
How could I calm down after hearing the news that my girl was sick? I could not concentrate on my work because I wanted to see Letta's condition firsthand. Damn! Why did, at a time like this, I could not do more for the girl I love? Louis Movena: "I have yet to find out what ails Miss Arletta, boss."
The left hand was clenched. Shit! I did not want to do anything, especially when it came to Arletta. Did I have to catch up with her there when yesterday she did not like being around me?
Me: "How did you know that Arletta was sick?"
I needed to make sure that Louis's information about Arletta's health was correct. Even though he's experienced in this matter, I did not want Louis to get the wrong news. I was very worried about the girl's condition and was still thinking of ways to get to the hospital.
Louis Movena: "I paid someone, boss. He snuck in and gave me the news."
How could I meet Arletta in this situation? Was my girl still in the hospital, or had she gone home? If my girl had not been Fiona's daughter or an ordinary person, then everything would have been very easy for me. Me: "Is Arlettta still there?"
I wondered where my girl stood. I have never cared for a girl as much as I did Arletta. What illness did she have?
Louis Movena: "Miss Arletta has not left the hospital yet, boss. The car that took her is still in the VIP area."
I knew what Louis meant. He said the VIP area was only for the family members of the Queen of the Hidden Dragon and the hospital directors.
Me: "Keep your eyes on your surroundings. Do not let your guard down!"
Should I call Damien to handle this situation? I did not want to trouble him, because he must be busy with the Godfather.
Louis Movena: "Yes, boss."
I should have been able to track Arletta's progress, but no one was aware except those who were used to acting in dangerous missions. I just needed to find the right idea or perhaps a tool. Yes, that was it: the right tool! But what kind of tool? What should it be, and how should it be placed?
Me: "If there is any other information, whatever it is, you know what you have to do."
I needed to find the easiest tool to get information about my girl. At this moment, I would go to The Red Opium headquarters and meet with the scientists there. Who knows, they could give me advice or even find the right tool for my problem.
Louis Movena: "Yes, boss."
I did not think there was anything else to discuss with Louis. After our conversation was over, he could go back to work, and I would contact the Red Opium office. Me: "Good."
I hung up the phone and then started searching for someone's name in the phone book on the cell phone. "If I am not mistaken, I know to keep the number of the chief scientist over there. Hm..."

I kept scrolling through the names in the phone book intently and... "Finally!"
Without hesitation, I dialled the number and waited for the dial tone. "Hopefully, the head scientist at the headquarters will not be busy, so I can consult with him directly."
I heard a dial tone, and that was a relief. Before the fourth ring, there was already a voice from the other side, so I was prepared to start a conversation, despite the fact that they must have been the ones doing so. Brenda Laurens: "Hello, this is Brenda speaking. May I assist you?"
I met Brenda a few times. I heard from Damien that she liked me, but she was never my dream type. Fortunately, Brenda was not a flirty girl, but she often watched from afar, and I knew it.
Me: "This is Alex Ainsley. I want to talk with Garry."
Brenda had worked there for five years, so she should know everyone who worked there by heart. There was no one else named Garry except Garry Chapman, the leader of all the scientists at The Red Opium office in Dumorz. Brenda Laurens: "Yes, Mr. Ainsley. Wait a moment please."
I said nothing, then heard a song that was a dial tone to the number. "I hope Garry is in the office and not busy."
I was a little surprised to hear a voice on the other side. I hope she did not hear my mumbling earlier.
Garry Chapman: "Hello, Mr. Alex Ainsley. This is Garry speaking."
Great! This was the person I had been looking for, and luckily, Garry was not out of the office or busy with work.
Me: "Garry, I need your help."

He could definitely give sensible advice for my situation at this point.
Garry Chapman: "I would be happy to help. What kind of help do you need, sir?"
Me: "If you want to know what a person is doing, what is the right tool which can be used for that situation?"
Garry was silent, and I waited for his answer. I needed a suitable object, one that was small and could be carried anywhere, especially by the target.
Garry Chapman: "I guess a mini CCTV will suitable for that, sir."
A mini CCTV? I just heard about that. I became interested and wanted to know more about it from Garry. He suggested it, so he should be able to tell me more about it. Me: "What is that? Explain in detail."
Garry Chapman: "A mini CCTV is a small CCTV. It can be attached to things like on paintings, on TVs, or on doors, sir."
Hmm... I wanted the supermini CCTV to be able to be attached to Arletta's bag for example. If it could be installed, then I could monitor my girl wherever she went.
Me: "Are there any that are really small, so they can be attached to other things like bags?"
I knew that question sounded silly, but there was no harm in asking rather than assuming. I did not want to ask the three damn friends who had betrayed me about this, because they could not be trusted! It was a good thing I had not openly told the other two about my girl.
Garry Chapman: "To attached to a smaller stuff like bag? Yes, we have. We have another product. The name is the supermini CCTV. It could be using-"
