Chapter 4021
Dylan finally broke the silence, his voice rough.
“Feeling sober now?”
Olivia countered, “What’s your intention, Dylan? Bringing me here, hoping it’ll trigger some old feelings so you can win me back? It’s done, over between us.
I’ve made that abundantly clear! What do I have to do to make you stop bothering me? Maybe… I should just marry someone.
”
“Marry someone?”
Dylan’s voice was hoarse as he groaned, “Absolutely not, Olivia.
You wouldn’t be so reckless about marriage!”
If Olivia were prone to falling for someone else quickly, she wouldn’t have remained single for so long.
Cecilia and Rena had introduced her to several exceptional men, each accomplished in their own right.
But Olivia had no crush on any of them.
Dylan was well aware that Olivia only entertained those men to signal to him as well as herself that she had moved forward.
But could she truly let go of the past?
Dylan unbuckled his seat belt and exited the driver’s seat.
Opening the back door, Dylan fixed his gaze on Olivia and quietly demanded, “Get out of the car.
”
Olivia stayed motionless.
Dylan stooped, lifted her, and closed the door forcefully.
Olivia was surprisingly light.
It was as if he were carrying a sack of feathers.
Olivia squirmed in Dylan’s embrace, her weight barely against his shoulder.
“Let go of me! Leave me alone.
” she mumbled weakly.
But Dylan just ignored that.
He strode to the elevator and swiped his card with ease, the lift ascending to his floor without delay.
Under the influence of alcohol, Olivia felt a fiery sensation coursing through her body…
Aware of Dylan’s intentions, Olivia thrashed in his arms.
Accidentally, her foot connected with Dylan’s sensitive area.
He let out a groan of pain.
Dylan’s gaze dropped to meet hers, an indescribable intensity flickering in his eyes.
Slowly, he reached out and traced his hand up her leg, his movements deliberate and gentle, yet tinged with a hint of something provocative.
Olivia glared at him, her lips quivering with anger.
Had this been in the past, Dylan would never have treated her this way, especially not in public.
The elevator kept going up.
Dylan lowered his head, his nose brushing against hers as he whispered hoarsely, “Do you enjoy this?”
