A Second Chance With My Billionaire Love

Chapter 3993

And Dylan just hugged her quietly.

Curious onlookers cast glances in their direction.

Eventually, Dylan murmured in her ear, “Shall we head to my office?”

In reality, there was an urgent matter he needed to attend to.

As Olivia’s thoughts turned to Gina, she attempted to break free from his embrace, but it appeared Dylan could sense her inner turmoil.

He held her tighter and spoke softly.

“Gina has returned to her country.

Olivia, there’s something important I need to tell you.

Can we go to the company first, please? I’m begging you.

Olivia remained silent, lifting her gaze to meet his.

Dylan lifted her effortlessly and settled her into the car.

Once inside the car, Olivia did not struggle anymore and simply sat there in silence.

“Give me two hours after we get to the company.

I have an important video meeting with a client.

After that, we’ll talk,” Dylan said softly.

Olivia could surmise the topic of conversation.

Thus, she silently fastened her seatbelt.

Dylan wanted to kiss her, but he restrained himself.

The black Bentley drove away, making its way to his company.

It wasn’t long before they arrived at the office building.

Olivia had previously worked in the building for two years after Dylan’s accident.

Observing her presence, the employees appeared perplexed, speculating on whether Dylan and Olivia had reconciled.

Dylan escorted Olivia to his office.

He retrieved a set of pajamas from the cabinet and offered them to her.

“You can change and take a nap if you’d like.

These clothes were delivered this morning, so they’re clean,” he said.

Olivia made no objection.

However, she declined to wear Dylan’s attire or recline on his bed, stating nonchalantly, “I’ll wait for you here on the couch.

After a moment’s contemplation, Dylan offered a faint smile before falling silent.

As Dylan left for the video conference, Olivia remained silent, gazing out of the window.

She knew that Dylan wanted to get back together with her.

Truth be told, as Edwin had suggested, Dylan wasn’t a bad person.

In truth, Olivia still had feelings for him.
