A Naive Bride for the Sophisticated CEO

Chapter 60: The weak woman.

Chapter 60: The weak woman.

Amelia got ready to leave for Freddie’s house. She got to the living room and met James all dressed up too.

“I’m going with you.” He said, and she shook her head and walked up to him.

“Babe, you have a meeting with an important client in thirty minutes time. You should go there. I can sort this out myself.” She said to him, and he shook his head.

“No, I want to be with you on this one, okay? You don’t have to do it on your own.”

Amelia exhaled and cupped his face in her palms. “Trust me, Freddie. I can do this alone. I’ll tell you everything when I get back. I won’t keep a single thing from you.”

James lowered his head and slowly nodded.

“You’re telling me everything, without removing anything, okay?” He uttered, and she bounced her head.

“I promise.” She lifted her pinky finger and wagged it, waiting for him to touch it with his.

Instead he pulled her hand to his mouth and planted a soft kiss on it. “You smell so good.” He mumbled against her skin, sniffing hard.

Amelia laughed and moved her hand from his. “Don’t start. You’re going to be late.”

James nodded and hurriedly picked up his briefcase. “If anything goes south, call me immediately.”

He made the telephone sign, and she shook her head with a smile. “Bye!” She responded, waving at him.

“I love you!” He uttered as he rushed to the door.

“I love you too!” Amelia responded with a large smile.

Soon she heard him drive out of the compound, and she went ahead to pick her handbag and car keys. She also stepped out of the house and headed to her Mercedes Benz car.

She threw her bag to the other front seat and sat in it. She pulled out her phone from her bag and texted Freddie; “I’m on my way to your house.”

She dropped her phone on the seat and ignited the engine. She drove out of the compound too and hit the road.

She drove into Freddie compound, parked her car and stepped out of it majestically and powerfully. She could feel she felt so much stronger than she had always been.

‘I am not going to let anyone pull me down anymore. Never!’ She told herself.

She took her bag and held her phone in her other hand. She checked the screen to see if Freddie already responded, but she saw nothing.

She sighed and shook her head as she approached the main door. She didn’t bother knocking, so she just opened the door and stepped into the large living room.

She took a quick scan of the living room with her eyes and noticed there were no movements.

‘Where is everyone?’

“Mrs. Alba!” She called and walked to the kitchen. It was the same thing there too. Empty.

‘Mrs. Alba too is gone?’

“Uncle Freddie?” She called as she began to approach the stairs. She lifted her phone and put a call across to him as she headed to his room.

His phone rang and rang but he didn’t answer it.

“What the hell? Didn’t he say it was cool coming today?” She muttered, and let out a sigh of frustration.

She texted him again; “You should have told me you have work to do today. I’m going back home now. You will be visiting me the next time

She was about to throw her phone into her bag when she heard footsteps approach her slowly.

She turned to look abruptly and to her greatest surprise, she saw Hudson standing in front of her.

“Hudson.” She called, wondering when he got back home.

“You look so surprised, Mrs. Parker.” He responded, scrutinizing her body with his eyes, from head to toe.

“Well, I am. I wasn’t aware anyone was home.” She responded bravely, letting out a slight smile.

He chuckled and started to move closer to her. “I must confess, you have changed so much. Looking so very beautiful.” He muttered.

Amelia’s heart skipped a beat at every step he took closer to her, but she refused to show him her fears, or he would take advantage of her as he has always wanted to.

“Well, we can’t stay the same forever. It was nice meeting you. I have to leave now.”

She moved to his side and walked briskly to the stairs.

“Why are you in such a hurry? We should catch up, don’t you think? Especially now that you look more beautiful and womanly.”

Hudson followed behind her, rushing down the stairs after her. Amelia could smell the danger ahead and hurriedly dialed James’ number. He was the only one she could think of.

“I’m still talking to you!” Hudson roared and grabbed her hand from behind. He yanked her towards him, and she fell on his chest.

“You like that, don’t you?” He muttered with a menacing laughter.

“Let me go, Hudson!” Amelia struggled with him. She managed to get one of her hands out of his firm embrace and didn’t hesitate to throw a slap on his face.

“There is nothing to catch up on! You are sick!” She yelled and pushed him off with that same hand.

Hudson’s eyes widened in shock and he brushed his pulsing cheek. Amelia began to run to the door as soon as she was released.

“Wow! This is exactly how I love my women. Fierce and sexy.” Hudson responded and ran up to her at full speed.

Amelia opened the door to run out, but she wasn’t fast enough. Hudson slammed the door shut and pulled her backward with her hair.

Amelia staggered backward and quickly gained her balance before she could fall and hurt herself.

“You’re insane, Hudson! Why are you doing this?!” She yelled as tears began to stream down her cheeks.

“Why won’t I do this? Look at you! You’re irresistible. You are so hot.” He responded, moving closer to her again.

‘Where are you James??? Where are you??’ Amelia cried in her head, moving back too.

“I have always wanted to have a taste of you, I almost did but my psychopath father stopped me.”

“You’re the psychopath, Hudson! I’m married!”

“Makes it even better!” He dashed to her and grabbed her hand again.

“Hudson, stop!”

He ignored her cry and yanked her to the couch. She fell flat on the couch and quickly tried to stand up but he got over her and pinned her down.

“Stop, Hudson! I’m pregnant!” She cried.

“I don’t care. Maybe that is why you look so beautiful.” He buried his head in her neck and began to place rough kisses on it.

Amelia kept struggling but he was way stronger than her. It was as if she wasn’t doing anything at all.

Hudson grabbed her shirt and ripped it into two at a go.

“James!!!” She wailed.

Hudson stopped kissing her and broke into another menacing laughter.

“James?!! He can’t save…”

“Yes, I can!” James answered from behind. Ran to Hudson before he could think of what to do next.

He grabbed his cloth from behind and threw him on the floor, away from Amelia.

He grabbed his shirt and pinned him to the ground as he began to throw hard punches at his face.

“You dare lay your filthy hands on my wife?!” James yelled as he kept punching him.

Blood filled Hudson’s face in no time, and this got Amelia really scared.

“James, that’s enough. You’re going to kill him.” She cried, hugging her chest with her ripped clothes.

“I don’t care! He laid his hands on you!” James roared, still punching him very hard.

“Stop, James! That’s enough!” Amelia rushed to James and pulled him from behind.

James let her pull him away from Hudson and he sat on the floor breathing hard.

“You’re going to rot in jail for this! I promise you.” James uttered, pointing to him.

Hudson burst into laughter again and shook his head. “Why are you so mad? Can’t you see how hot she is?”

“A*ss…” James wanted to get up again but Amelia stopped him.

“Don’t mind him, James.”

James shut his eyes tight and turned to look at her. “Are you okay?” He asked, removing his suit. He placed it on her and brushed her hair softly.

“I’m fine, baby. Thank you for coming at the right time.”

“No, Amelia.” He shook his head. “I should have come here with you. All these wouldn’t have happened if I was with you.”

The door gave way again and they both looked at the door. Uncle Freddie walked in and when he saw how they were, he ran up to them.

“What happened?” His eyes popped wide open when he saw Hudson lying on the floor, covered in his blood.

“Hudson? When did you get back?! And why are you covered in blood?” He asked and didn’t wait for a response before looking at James and Amelia.

He saw how red James’ knuckles were and how damaged Amelia’s shirt was.

He clenched his jaws and looked at Hudson again. “You did it again, didn’t you?”

He bent down, pulled him by his shirt and gave him a punch too.

“Are you crazy, Hudson? Are you okay at all?” He asked and turned to look at Amelia. “I’m so sorry, Amelia.”

Amelia cleaned her eyes and stood to her feet. “You don’t have to be sorry. He is going to pay for his actions, the same way you would.” She said firmly, and Freddie gulped and nodded.

“Can you talk?” He asked.

“That is why I’m here. But, I don’t think I still want to stay here and talk. Let’s have this discussion in my house.”

Amelia stretched her hand to James, and he held her hand. She pulled him out of the mansion and they both walked up to her car.

She looked around and noticed his car wasn’t around. “Where is your car?”

“I didn’t come here with it. When I answered your call, I was too angry when I heard how you were screaming, and my client noticed this. He said he wouldn’t let me drive, so he offered to drive me here. He left after I got here.”

Amelia inhaled and exhaled hardly. “Let’s get out of here.”

“I’ll drive.” He said, collecting the key from her. He hurried to the driver’s side and got in.

“What about your meeting?”

“We’ll do it some other time. Don’t worry about that. All I can think of now is how to make that bastard pay for what he did to you.”

“It’s not something hard to figure out. He will be in jail with his father.” She responded icily, and James looked at her.

“I’ll make all of them pay. I’m done being the weak woman they have always known. They will all suffer for what they have done to me.” She added with no remorse.

A smile crept up James’ face, and he nodded. “I love this.”
