Beatrice's face turned pale, and her chest heaved violently in anger.
But she didn't dare to quarrel with Anastasia. Considering the current public opinion, it would be of no
benefit to her to make a fuss.
The director was still in shock, but Anastasia had already turned away.
But she didn't leave the film set and headed to Patrick's office.
As expected, they were arguing inside, and even the director of the TV station was inside.
"I know you're angry and don't want Beatrice to be on the show, but Mr. Patterson just invested a while
ago. How can we slap him in the face?"
Patrick gritted his teeth angrily.
"That woman harbors evil thoughts. Last time, she almost ruined my career. Fortunately, Starlight
Entertainment was decisive and fired her.
"But how could you let her be a judge?
"Didn't you put a nuisance before me on purpose?
"I will absolutely not cooperate with such a woman!"
The director sighed heavily, feeling a little helpless.
"This time, Terence said it in person. He is still in my office. How can I refuse him? Next time, Christian
comes in person. Should I refuse?"
They couldn't afford to offend a big shot like Christian.
Patrick was too furious to speak.
Anastasia paused, turned around, and went downstairs to leave.
When she arrived downstairs, she saw Terence standing there in a white shirt, talking to Beatrice.
Beatrice stood there in high spirits. She was in a good mood.
"Thank you for helping me, Terence. You have been standing by Christian and me, and we will treat
you to dinner later."
Terence loosened his neckline, and his stern face turned somewhat soft.
"You're welcome. You are just so kind, so you are always bullied. Anastasia is nothing to be afraid of. If
she makes a fuss again, you can just eliminate all the interns in her company."
As soon as the words fell, Anastasia couldn't help but snort. She walked down the last step slowly.
Those two people were slightly taken aback.
Beatrice's expression was well-managed. She glanced at Terence in panic, winked, and shook her
head as if telling him to keep his voice down.
Anyway, Terence was a rich second generation. He used to be arrogant, so he didn't feel sorry or panic
at all.
He tidied his clothes slowly, squinted at Anastasia, and said very firmly,
"What are you afraid of? For Christian's sake, we still allow her to make a living. Otherwise, how can
she put on airs here?
"Some people, ignorant of how much they are worth, have learned a lot about how to domineer over
others."
Anastasia was not a fool. How could she not know that Terence was mocking her?
Ever since she married Christian, Terence had the most hostility towards her, and she didn't know why.
But at this time, she pondered for a moment. It seemed she had no reason to pretend she hadn't heard
him.
She turned around. Her bright facial features were a bit indifferent, and her eyes were shining. She
smiled and said in a calm tone,
"Are you talking about me?"
"Yes."
Terence had the intention of avenging Beatrice, so he did not give in.
Anastasia pressed her lips, folded her hands, and lowered her head with a smile.
"Do you know a saying? A dog catches a mouse. One of you is a dog, and the other is a mouse!"
He had a finger in the pie.
Terence flew into a rage and wanted to argue with her, but Beatrice hurriedly grabbed him.
"Forget it. Terence, don't be angry. It is not good to be seen."
"Is she so shameless? She bullied you so much, but you are still concerned about her. Why didn't such
a woman get retribution?"
Terence spoke in a gloomy tone.
Anastasia restrained her smile and looked at him seriously.
"Retribution is a matter of time, but it is not sure whom the retribution awaits."
