Kill Me, Heal Me

Chapter 94 A good idea.

Chapter 94 A good idea.

When Ethan Mo came back to Echo’s office after a phone call, the kid was still sitting there, like a monk in meditation. Usually, a kid in his age would be lively and pure, but he was even more deep and complex than his mother.

Echo Xu claimed him to be retarded, which was not obvious right now, but through his face, everyone could tell he had been sick for a long time.

Barry Mo came here in a hurry after he got the call from Ethan, and he saw the kid.

“Find someone to look after him. Anyone will do.” Ethan would say to leave him to the street, but suddenly he changed his mind.

If Belle Ye knew her son was now in his hands, how could she leave like this then? Ethan Mo smiled, in a creepy way.

This time, he was sure to win and he knew that woman would come back tamely.

“Go on, bring this kid back, and send someone to Yoyo Lin. Tell him I have her son, if Belle Ye didn’t want to see her son again, I’m glad to sell this kid to some distant place.”

He turned to the kid and put on a creepy smile again.

But the kid was not afraid of him at all. He raised his head and looked at Ethan.

“Are you gonna take me to someplace?”

“No, you’re not going anywhere. Thanks for your irresponsible mother.” Ethan stared at the kid as if he wanted to see through the kid to his real father.

During these five years, somewhere he did not know, she and some ugly animal gave birth to this little bastard.

Finally, he drew his eyes and asked Barry to withdraw all the people he arranged to search for Belle Ye.

“Why, sir?”

“Cause I’ve got her child now.”

Barry did not say too much and followed his command.

...

Two days later.

Ethan had waited for two days, but there was still no sight of Belle Ye at all.

Meanwhile, the kid that was weak with sickness now was squatting on the ground. Barry sent a maid here to look after him but no one knew the seemingly easy job was actually very tricky.

One or two bites on the food and that were his meal. The maid forced him to eat but he spewed it all up.

Let alone when the maid went to check on his sleep but was almost scared to death by the bright eyes on his pale face in the darkness of the night.

“Sir, should I get him a doctor?” The maid told Ethan about his situation.

Ethan thought a second and answered him.

“No.”

He was just a kid with a low IQ and a sick body. If he died, that was because of himself while not Ethan.

The maid would not dare to disobey him, so she bowed and turned around to leave.

“Wait.” Ethan stopped her and said. “Bring him here.”

“Yes, sir.”

The maid followed his command and brought the kid to the yard Ethan lived in.

“Daddy.” Seeing the familiar figure, the kid opened his mouth that kept shutting for two days.

Hearing that, the maid was almost frozen, but next second she went back to normal quickly.

Sitting on a sofa, Ethan sneered.

“Sorry kid, I don’t have a son like you.” After saying that, Ethan thought of something.

Actually, he had once. Only that poor baby was killed and never even had a chance to take a look at the world.

The maid put the kid down and then stood aside quietly. The kid then ran to Ethan immediately with his short legs and both arms stretching to keep a balance.

It seemed to be difficult for the kid to move, and Ethan noticed that but after one glance, he looked away to the magazine on his laps.

The kid stopped in front of him and then crouched down to look at him with his big, bright eyes.

“Daddy.” He kept staring at Ethan with a yearning look in his eyes.

“Shut up!” Ethan yelled and looked down at the kid.

He was crouching down at Ethan’s feet, and after two days, his face got paler than the first time they met.

Ethan shook his head slightly to get rid of some feelings inside of him.

Pity? Nonsense. He thought.

“You didn’t tell me your name yet.” Ethan thought of that and asked.

“I...I don’t have a name.” The boy bit on his lips and answered him haltingly.

“Yeah?” A boy in such age must have a name, but thinking of that he was retarded, Ethan took him as forgetting his name.

“Daddy, do you know where Mommy is?”

“You know who’s your Mommy?”

“No, I don’t,” The boy shook his head. “But uncle Tang told me I could found Mommy if I see Daddy.”

Uncle Tang!

Ethan grabbed the kid to his knee so that he could sit there.

“That uncle Tang! Who is he?”

“Uncle Tang is Uncle Tang.”

“Where is he? Can you lead me to him?” Ethan was irritable right now, because finally, this kid gave him something useful, but that stupid little head forgot the details.

“Uncle Tang won’t see me again.”

The boy thought of something and tears came out of his eyes.

“He said my Daddy and Mommy were here, and then he left.”

“Where did he go?”

“He didn’t say.”
