Chapter 1200

Chapter 1200 Fundraise

"Huh?"

Yuri slumped to the ground, his eyes losing luster.

It never occurred to him that Kaze would forcefully boot him out of the commerce guild.

Yuri did not know what he was supposed to do now.

All members of Lilyrose Commerce Guild looked at Kaze as their leader.

Max, the representative of Four Ocean Commerce Guild, kneeled near the sofa and kept slapping himself.

Yuri fell into despair.

Kaze had decided his fate.

Yuri did not even have a chance to retaliate.

*Take your niece and students and leave."

Without looking at Yuri, Kaze said his piece and went to Max.

With his back facing the crowd, Max whipped his face to the point of bleeding.

However, Max dared not stop until Kaze said so.

*That's enough."

Kaze's voice from the back was a godsend.

Max put down his sore arm and turned to face Kaze with a swollen face. He said, "Is there anything else I can do for you, Mr. Lee?"

"How's the vehicle ownership transfer coming along?" Kaze asked while taking a sip of tea.

Max bowed and scraped. "I'm on top of it, but the paperwork for any sports car worth over fifty million dollars is tedious and time-consuming."

*Don't talk your way out of it."

The smile on kaze's face gave Max the creeps. Kaze waved his arm, "You can beat it."

Since Max owned up to his mistakes, Kaze did not need to set him straight.

*Thank you, Mr. Lee! Thank you!"

Max got up and nodded before slipping away.

Once out of Lilyrose Commerce Guild's building, he bolted away and did not want to spend a minute more there.

*As a rare storm has hit the city, we at Lilyrose Commerce Guild, should do our part.

*To lead by example, I decided to donate ten million dollars on behalf of Quartet Group and Sky Ocean Corporation, respectively. The donation would serve as relief and rebuilding of the city."

Taking her duties as president seriously, Darcy announced to the members.

Darcy had both companies set up the funds before heading to the guild.

In fact, Quartet Group and Sky Ocean Corporation were not just donating twenty million dollars altogether. The funds reached up to fifty million dollars for each company.

Quartet Group and Sky Ocean Corporation had the means to cover the funds.

Nevertheless, Darcy lowered the amount as she suddenly took the appointment as president.

If she set the bar too high, the other members would have to donate just as much.

To Darcy's knowledge, the businesses run by some of the members were not doing too well.

The local sports brand, Rove, had been well-known nationwide since Darcy was a child.

Darcy would sport a pair of Rove sneakers during an occasional morning run with Kaze.

However, Rove had been squeezed out by the competition for the past few years, and business had suffered.

Some members faced the same financial situation as Rove.

Darcy needed to take what they could afford into consideration.

The way Darcy saw it, charity should come from the bottom of the heart. It was not a platform to show off and win favors.

*Darcy is right. The Vikroms pledge to donate fifteen million dollars."

*The Logmans will donate fifteen million dollars."
