Falling For The Alpha King

Chapter 25

Chapter 25

"Mike, I have an assignment for you."

"I'm ready, sir."

“Katie didn't accept and leave this envelope here. Now your job is to go to my attorney's office and give

him this envelope and letter. Tell him if something bad happens to me, ask him to see Katie and do

everything that is written in the letter," said the mysterious man with a sad look.

“Sir, why do you say like that? What bad thing could happen to you?” asked Mike.

“Mike, I have a hunch that something bad is going to happen to me. Doesn't a werewolf have a strong

instinct for what will happen to him?"

"Yes, indeed, sir. But, can't you prevent it, or is there a way out of it all?” asked Mike. He could guess

what the mysterious man meant.

“Can't and no way out, Mike. Alright, I guess it's time for you to go and do as I tell you."

"All right, sir."

Meanwhile, Katie finally reached Scott's house. At that time, Scott and Tom were making breakfast in

the kitchen when the girl came in through the front door. She walked through the kitchen toward the

stairs.

"Morning, everyone," Katie greeted as she continued to walk past her two friends.

"Kat, wait!" Scott called out to her, then trotted over to the girl.

Katie stopped walking and turned her head. When Scott was right in front of her, her feelings became a

little messy and hard to explain. However, she tried to manage her feelings, because after all, Katie

realized even though she couldn't have Scott, she could still help him.

"Where have you been? And who did you meet in the middle of the night?” Scott asked curiously.

Katie looked at Scott and replied, “I'll explain everything after I rest for a bit. I'll be downstairs in a bit

ok."

"Oh ok, have you had breakfast?" asked Scott.

"Not yet. I haven't had breakfast yet."

"Would you like me to make breakfast?" asked Scott.

"Okay. I'll go to my bedroom first and please prepare me a glass of milk too. Thank you."

The Wolf in Scott sensed that something wasn't right with his best friend. He couldn't wait to see what

Katie would tell him.

Then Katie went up to the second floor and into her room. She laid on the bed and crying. Her original

plan was just to get information about the tattoo by giving herself to the mysterious man and after that,

it was all over. However, it turned out to be different in the end.

The mysterious man had already guessed what would happen to him in the future and as a result of

Katie's plan last night, she was involved in going deeper into this case and if one day she was pregnant

with the man's child, could she be willing the High Court to punish the man? or let Scott and the rest of

her friends take revenge on the man. Because after all, he is the father of the child she will bear later.

Katie didn't expect things to be this complicated. On the one hand, if the man does not get punished,

then he will act even crueler and maybe one day Scott or Tom could be in danger.

After lying down for a long time and felt calm enough, her mind had been arranged in such a way about

what she should do in the future, so she got up and sat in front of her dressing table while staring

intently at her face in the mirror.

"Okay, Katie. You can do it, whatever will be, will be. I must be strong and nothing can stop me to help

Scott and uphold justice for everyone,” she thought to himself.

Then, she came out of her bedroom and walked down the stairs while still calming herself that all her

sacrifices would be of great use to Scott.

In the kitchen, Scott and Tom were setting the table when Katie joined them. The girl sat across from

Tom, and Scott sat next to Katie.

“Kat, are you all right?” asked Tom.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Katie replied calmly.

“Ok, umm what are you going to tell us?” Scott asked Katie.

“Honestly, I went to Mr. James's house to find out about the snake tattoo on someone's chest. And after

I—“ Katie stopped talking and quiet suddenly.

"After what? Continue please,” Tom asked her to continue the explanation.

“After I made love to Mr. James, I saw the snake tattoo on his chest and the man that we have been

looking for and the mastermind behind all of these is him,” Katie said.

"What? Did you make love to him? Did you give yourself to our enemy? What were you thinking?” Scott

got angry and couldn't believe what he heard from Katie.

"I'm sorry. I had no choice. That was the only way that I could think of. I didn't know any other way. I

know what both of you thinking about me right now, I don't mind either, but please understand that I did

it especially for you, Scott.”

“But, you don't need to sacrifice yourself to him. We can do all things together. You made yourself in

danger last night,” Scott said.

"I know, I'm sorry. But, the most important thing is we need to help Bert. He is in the middle of the

forest. He got badly injured and a lone wolf helped him. We can just hope he will be ok and can tell us

everything. We need to hurry,” Katie said.

“Ok, after having breakfast, we prepare everything and see Bert,” Scott said.

Then, they finished their breakfast quickly. After that, each of them divided the tasks and did their work

quickly.

An hour later, all the preparations to see Bert in the woods on the edge of Stowe were ready. Guns,

bullets, camps, food, drinks, medicine, battery chargers, flashlights, firewood, and more.

Then, they loaded all of these things into Scott's car and hurried off.

Hope arose in their hearts, a bright spot of hidden mysteries began to be revealed one by one. Scott

hopes that the cause of death of his father and Fred's parents can be revealed soon and after that, he

just wants to live a quiet and happy life together with Lisa.

Meanwhile, in the middle of the forest, in a house, Bert and his friend who was a lone wolf seemed to

be on guard and observing the situation around their house. Bert sensed a large group of people were

after him and wanted his death.
